He’s Baa-aack.  Billy Glidden is back in NMCA Super Street and he’s bringing it.  We’re glad to be onboard the Glidden ride.  Billy scored the win at his first event back on the tour and also made the first 6 second pass for a carbureted car in NMCA S/S racing.

Not to be outdone, “down under” in Aussie land the bad asses of Australia, Trick and Mansweto are at it again.

This time Tricky and the gang crushed all comers in SS/A competition with a naturally aspirated 600 cubic inch Pro Systems carbureted engine that reset the record at 7.43 seconds at 184.35 mph!


The gang at Pro Systems thought it was time we got in on the record setting act and we took our Felice Engines powered road course development car back to the track.

Despite near record breaking heat and humidity and with company President Patrick James at the wheel, we broke the Sebring International Raceway track record by 2 seconds a lap in qualifying.  It was a hairy ride, the car was more sideways than straight as it drifted through the corners on the hot and greasy track.

We grabbed the record, the number one qualifying spot and won the race, giving us a very commanding lead in the CFR 2008 SCCA Points Championship.  Remember we built this car as a development tool for a Ford team and now we’re chasing championship points?  How did this happen?  Racing is an addiction isn’t it?

 Fresh out of battle and covered in brake dust and tire rubber, our test car is ready for another round.  

The next race is Daytona…so we’ll see how that goes up on the high banks.  We have a few new things to test for our customers and then the #34 car will be retired.  Hopefully with a Championship winning banner on its flanks.
