Trans Am engine builder supreme: Phil Harper Motorsports (248.347.9258) converted the Dodge Viper of Tommy Archer over to Pro-Systems carburetion last week. Dodge Viper driver Tommy Archer stated “Its much faster than our current design” and proved it by grabbing Dodges first pole position with the Viper. On race day Archer had his hands full of Paul Gentilozzi as alot of car crunching was going on before the race even began. But Archer (despite a pitstop for a new tire after Gentilozzi ripped off Archers valve stem in a melee) fought his way back through the field to hold off Paul Gentilozzi for the win.

This was a serious tire slamming event and saw a lot of heated racing both on and off the track. Congrats on your win Tommy and thanks for coming aboard.

Ross Stomp (Ross Customs 248.666.1271) continued his domination of the Nostalgia Pro-Street class in NSCA action at Cordova, taking the win over the hard charging Kevin Parent.

Congratulations goes out to Kim Mapes (Kim and Larry’s Performance 734.287.6394) as Cordova was a very good place to be. Taking the win in Limited Street.

Russ Richardson is another of our regular winners and contenders everywhere he goes. Fresh off a recent win at a Coastal Carolina Racing Association event, the Ryan Tutor crew chiefed car has run a best of 5.36 seconds on a 10 inch tire. WOW! Nice wheelstand Russ!

Congratulations to Jeg Coughlin Jr. on his number one qualifying position at Sonoma in NHRA Pro-Stock.

Mac Sherrill of Sherrill racing chassis (440.949.7104)is really making a name for himself in the Top Dragster class. Mr. Consistency uses our Nitrous Pro-IV carburetor to run 6.6 second passes in the Sherrill built beast. Now with three runner ups in a row in IHRA competition Sherrill is poised for a win. GO MAC GO!
