Rod Bourke races in the APBA National Modified class.  2009 is starting off great for Rod as he debuted his new program with a win at the Lawrence event.  With top speeds around the course of 130 plus mph these racers subject themselves to tremendous g-forces.  This requires a special kind of driver and a very custom built carburetor and engine package to live under these amazing loads.  The Eds Automotive built Pro Systems carbureted small block Ford is up to the task though.  Good job guys and thanks for the win.  Man that looks like fun!
