Since snow is on the ground everywhere, how about highlighting some race cars from our friends up north....lets go waaay up North.  Can you get any further up north than Alaska? 

Well Anchorage Alaska is where this beautiful Mustang calls home. 

The John Scantlin owned and driven Mustang enjoys a pampered life in a heated garage in the off season (I feel sorry for the other vehicles in Alaska...don't you?).  But when summer arrives and race day comes, Johns Mustang rolls out of the garage to see the light of day and begins tearing the tracks up.

Johns 462 cubic inch 2500 lb.Mustang uses a pair of Pro Systems Dominators to feed this beautiful Mustang AND fortunately for John, if he needs fuel for those carbs...the Alaskan pipeline is right in his backyard...does anyone have a tap?
