The Perfect Small Block.

The Engine Masters Challenge is a meeting of the minds.  Just like in NHRA Pro Stock, simply qualifying for the event means you are already a bad ass.

Enter Revolutionary Performance Machine.  Their Qualifying Entry in the Engine Masters Challenge is what I deem the perfect small cubic inch street engine.  Its only 337 cubic inches, with 10.5:1 compression, a 242 @ .050 with .655 lift cam, AFR 210 heads and of course a Pro Systems Annular 860 cfm carb.  It's a pretty straight up combination.  The amazing thing is this little engine cranked out a certified 529 horsepower at a mere 6500 rpm on that stuff we call pump gas.  WOW!

Engine builders are on this earth for a reason, they have all kinds of tricks to making combinations work.  This engine is no exception, utilizing a factory steel crankshaft and a Performer RPM intake manifold this engine is a master of understatement in description.  But at well over 529 h.p. and 481 lbs of torque this is not only the little engine that could...its the little engine that will.  Break the rear end right out of your car that is.  LOL.

So contact the folks at Revolutionary Performance or any other talented engine builder and have them build you one of these.  The specs are in this months Popular Hot Rodding magazine (a must have on your subscription list).  Although building this engine is not an easy task (probably best left to the engine builder of your choice), its money well spent in my book.  Now....what to put it in?

Thanks for reading.
