This engine deserves its own headline.  Ted and Darren at Engine Systems have built some pretty awesome powerplants over the years.  But when the Dyno Max Challenge called they knew that they had what it took to win the Challenge and win they did. 

Using E-85 fuel and through the mufflers their 650 cubic inch engine made 1264 Dyno proven Horsepower at the Flywheel.  Thats a Naturally Aspirated muffled street engine folks, on pump gas.  That makes it the highest recorded horsepower level of any Naturally aspirated E-85 engine on the planet.  Good Job Engine Systems, we were glad to be a part of the project.  We had a great time developing some very special carburetors for this milestone achievement.

As a side note:  Another Engine Systems entry (this one on gasoline) was the Runner up in the Naturally Aspirated Challenge and it also used a set of Pro Systems Dominators to feed the powerplant.  Man, those guys are good, coming home with a 1-2 Finish.
