Jeff McConnell knows how to race a small block in the real world.
Jeff is the 2007 Hot Rod Magazine Small Block Naturally Aspirated Class Champion.
His car is a 1980 Chevy Malibu Stock Suspension car, with full interior. The 427 c.i. naturally aspirated street driven small block car runs in the 9's at 133 mph with sixty foot times in the 1.3 second zone on a Drag Radial tire.
Jeff would like to thank:
Patrick at Pro Systems for a Dominator Carburetor, that got 11.5 MPG towing a small trailer during the 1200 mile road trip, and he never touched it all week.
The Hot Rod Challenge will put any carb and car to the test, as the 1200 mile road trip involves racing at five tracks, in five days, across five States, no tow vehicles or support cars allowed.
Now thats a challenge for man and machine.
Jeff would also like to thank:
Bob Morton for the engine work, Bob Morton Enterprises, Independence Mo.
