For 2010 Chris stepped up to a sheetmetal manifold yet he still wanted to stay footbraking the car.  Knowing sheetmetal and four barrel carbs are not known for great off idle throttle response, Chris opted to remove his 1150 carburetors that the package was dynoed and developed with and switch to a pair of SV1 carbs.  Chris was amazed to find the SV1's right out of the box made 26 more h.p. and 23 more lbs. ft. of torque!

Now his 439 c.i. engine is making 948 h.p!!  So, I suspect Chris may want to get a stronger set of wheelie bars for this upcoming season.
