David Archibald is an American through and through.  He wanted to road course race an exotic sports car, but he wanted an American label on it.  So he got himself a Ford Pantera and then shipped it off to NASCAR country where famed NASCAR builder E.J. Trivette basically built a full blown NASCAR cup chassis underneath the Ford Pantera.  Its now as strong and rigid as any race car needs to be and is equipped with GIANT full blown Sprint Cup brakes (just like they use at Martinsville speedway).  So it can stop let me tell you.  When it came time for "go", Jim McKee built the Ford engine and equipped it with one of our top of the line Sprint Cup carburetors.
