If you are using a blow through carb and want to reduce or eliminate fuel seepage through the throttle shafts. A pressure balance plate is the best way to do that. Unlike shaft seals that can hang the throttle up under boost, a pressure balance plate simply supplies clean forced air to the outer perimeter of the shafts. This clean forced air greatly reduces fuel spray and weeping through the throttle shafts under boost. *
