I love showing real street cars in our showcase column.  Joe Bloombergs 1965 Mustang is a perfect example of a story I love to hear.

The 1965 Mustang is a 22 year work in progress that culminated with a 9 second elapsed time this past weekend.

The Duane Busch built 347 really flies and the Pro Systems carbureted 347 engine spins to 8400 rpm!!

Using a C4 tranny and 4.56 gears the Mustang has ran as fast as a 9.89 @ 134 mph (check out the video).

But more impressive, check out the before and after photos of the car when Joe bought it 22 years ago as a 15 year old and how its been transformed into the beauty you see today.
