This car is a '68 Chevelle owned by Rob Meservier of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.  Rob runs the Lucas Oil Top Sportsman class in Division 5.  The Chevelle is powered by a little 622 with a 'glide. It has a 2 stage nitrous system and is fed by two Pro-Systems Nitrous Pro IV Dominators. 

But that little 622 runs let me tell ya'.  Robs car runs in the 6's (yes the 6's) at a touch over 200 mph in the quarter mile.  Its not a lightweight car either, its a real Chevelle, weighing in at 2765 lbs!  

Rob states "We sent Pro Systems the specs on the engine and the car set-up, they sent us carbs they said would be ready to go "out of the box".  We took them out of the box, bolted them on, they worked awesome and we have not had to touch them."

Rob was promptly rewarded with a win in the highly competitive Lucas Oil Top Sportsman class at Brainerd Int'l Raceway.  Taking home class honors for the event.
